Formula Drift at Road Atlanta was a blast. Autosport Dynamics had a great run there this year. Vaughn Gittin JR got 2nd place with fellow Falken sponsored driver Daijiro Yoshihara taking home 1st place. Darren McNamara also did well considering that he drove through the top 32 with a broken wrist.
The ProAM was a lot of fun. Driving Road Atlanta was a great experience. My first run out of the practice sessions felt great. Linked the course without much trouble. Unfortunately my clutch began slipping and wouldn’t downshift into 2nd gear. So it appears a new clutch and a check up for my Z transmission is in order.
The whole crew will be heading up to Englishtown, New Jersey for East Coast Bash this weekend. Should be a pretty awesome event weekend. I’m excited for this one, Clubloose events are all about keeping drifting fun. The XDC East Coast events are also coming up and I definitely want to have all the necessary repairs made to the car and have it dialed back in before then.
