After a last minute practice day out at Knights’ Stadium in Fort Mill with the usual crew, I found yet another set of issues to fix before the 2010 season begins. I was about to head out on track for another set of runs and as I turned the wheel several buddies realized my front driver side fender was being pulled and was stuck behind the tire as I turned. This led us to find that the bolt that holds the sway bar and the front tension rod brace to the chassis is broken. I knew my front wheels were moving back and fourth but then we saw the whole front core support moving as well. It moved it so much it broke some spot welds that were redone after the wreck at Myrtle Beach earlier this summer. I still need to fix the rear bushings. I’ll post up some pics of the damage when the work starts. For now you can check out some of Sami over at Slammed Graphic’s coverage of the practice day.
